Cllr Paul Wray
Temporary Closures on the M621 J7 Anti-clockwise Exit Sliproad
From Monday 29 June, for approximately three nights, Connecting Leeds be closing the M621 J7 anti-clockwise exit slip road. The work is weather dependant so have allowed five nights in the programme, Monday to Friday. The hours of the closure are 20:00– 18:00, and the signed diversion will be via junction 5, Tunstall Road.
During w/c 6 July, Connecting Leeds are closing sections of the inbound A639 / A61 as shown above. The signed diversion route is also shown, however the buses have an agreement to use the Savannah Way, which is a private road. A temporary stop will be placed on Savannah Way to replace the one impacted by this closure - Wakefield Road Leeds Valley Park (45011647). This closure will be implemented Monday to Friday, 19:30 to 05:00.
The works taking place during these closures include removal of existing road markings, placement of new road markings and fencing. Due to their location, Connecting Leeds do not envisage the works causing any disruption to local residents.
Advance signs will be displayed to advise road users of the pending closures.
